Home Inspection Report

The sample home inspection report consists of a main body with the deficiencies, comments, and the property and system information, and a separate, more concise deficiency section. The inspection software is custom made to be m or focused on the anomalies we generally see here in Minnesota.  It shows the detailed inspection results reported system by system with pictures and illustrations.

The report is a snapshot of the condition of the home the day of the inspection.

All home inspection reports are computer generated PDF reports with color photos and illustrations that will be emailed to you, usually within 24 hours (sometimes 48 hours when the property is a larger home or multiple dwelling).

The home inspection report is a detailed, user friendly narrative report, that lists the deficiencies found in each system (exterior, interior, plumbing, etc.).  Each deficiency has a title, a description, a consequence, and an action you should take.  During the in-person review with me, I offer maintenance and safety suggestions when appropriate.  Also included in the home inspection report are illustrations and color photos of items that may be needed to clarify the location or meaning of the deficiency.  At the back of the report there is a section that only lists the deficiencies or areas of concern.  After I conclude my inspection and you arrive, we will walk through the home together so we can look at the deficiencies, discuss them, and answer any questions you may have.  This is my time to give you a real education of the conditions of the home.  If you have any questions at a later date or after you move in, please call.  I will be happy to take all the time necessary for you to understand and the condition of the home.
